Real Pirates Wear Pink: Upgrading Our Look for Day 2 of the Escondido Ren Faire

Sunday at the Escondido Renaissance Faire called for a massive wardrobe upgrade. After spending Saturday rocking our teal gear, it was time to unleash a brand-new pirate look for day two. This weekend, I decided our crew needed to stand out on the fairgrounds, so I spent my week crafting custom, matching outfits for me and my favorite furry crew mates. Meet the finest pink Privateers to ever sail the faire grounds! I hand-made brand new pink and silver brocade pirate vests for my pups, giving them the ultimate Sunday upgrade. To make sure we completely matched, I also made a pair of matching pink pirate breeches for myself. Walking into the Barrett's Privateers camp, the crew definitely didn't expect this level of coordinated, custom style. We spent the beautiful Spring Sunday turning heads, taking over the fairgrounds, and looking for treasure (and by treasure, I mean snacks).
